Improving the viability and stability of a probiotic product with Saccharomyces boulardii DBVPG

In recent decades, probiotic products have been increasingly used to prevent certain gastro-intestinal and urogenital disorders, improve the general condition of body as a supplement pharmacological therapy. They are most often registered dietary supplements, less drugs in form capsules, powders, solutions. Optimization technological processes production packaging these aims maintain characteristics while adhering all criteria during that ensure quality, bioavailability optimal therapeutic effects. this paper, importance choosing primary secondary materials was explored with aim preserving viability cells capsules for two years, i.e. shelf life. By comparing applications polyvinyl chloride (PVC) PVC/polyvinylidene chloride/polyethylene blister foils, better protection observed by applying multilayer foil. addition, research, further improvements cell were achieved packing-flow pack bag inert gas storing multilayered blisters.
